Photo 1
This photo was taken for the line and shape assignment. What I like about this photo is the leading lines which lead your eyes through the photo. My point of view was down low on the ground. ISO was set to 400 and the white balance was set to shade. There is a strong contrast between the shadows and the ground. There is a strong range of values in the photo. I selected this photo because there is an interesting point of view.

This photo was taken for the pattern and texture assignment because of the texture of the library's rug. I enjoy how the light on the rug shows the texture of the rug but also creates shape because of how the light is landing. My point of view was above the rug. This photo also has a strong range of values between the shadow on the rug and where the sun is reflecting. ISO was set to 800 and white balance was set to fluorescent. In photoshop, I converted the image to black and white. I selected this photo because of how the rug looked with the light on it. It clearly shows the rug's texture.

This photo was taken for the motion assignment. The umbrella opening up created the shape of a flower. My point of view was level with Leanne. Shutter speed was set to a fast shutter speed, 1/250 because there is blur around the umbrella. White balance was set to cloudy and ISO was set to 400. I selected this photo because I enjoyed how the umbrella opening up looked like a flower.

I took this photo for the painting with light assignment. I selected this photo because the shape of the infinity sign looks interesting. The shutter speed was fast because the motion is frozen. A string of lights was used to create the infinity sign. There is a large amount of negative space surrounding the infinity signs and inside of it. The shape is an infinity sign. I edited the color using photo shop to make the infinity sign a light blue color.

This photo taken for the painting with light assignment. The red lines are an interesting shape and lead your eyes to the end of the paper. There is also a lot of negative space around the lines. The shutter speed was fast in this photo too because the motion is frozen and not blurry. The focus on the photo is of the lines created by moving lights around. I chose this photo because the lines look strange. This photo was edited in photo shop to make the color of the lines red instead of white.
photo 6
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment. My point of view for this photo was even with the cameras. There is negative space surrounding the cameras. There is a large depth of field, f/16, meaning that the foreground and the background are in focus. ISO was set to 3200 because the cameras were under very bright lights inside. This photo gives a somewhat nostalgic feel because of the old camera and it could make the viewer curious.
